Sea Hotel is located right on the beach in Tel Aviv, Israel. The hotel takes environmental responsibility seriously and is an officially recognized eco-friendly hotel.
The management team was interested in enhancing their beautifully designed lobby and chic interiors with plants. But did not want to be burdened with the damage, spills, or high maintenance that usually accompany them.
After consulting with the client the Selfgrow team installed seven Zamia and Rhapis Palms in the lobby and the stairwell. The plants have been thriving since their installation in January 2020, despite very low light conditions, and the management team couldn’t be happier. As well as bringing in a visual element of the hotel’s eco-friendly values their plants are always in excellent health.
As of writing the plants have only been watered once over a period of one and a half years. Sea Hotel was an early adopter of Selfgrow’s technology and has really benefited from the ease and adaptability of the product. They are looking forward to replacing some of the artificial plants they have in the building with Selfgrow plants in the near future.
